There are a few openings in the March 5 Kansas Wetlands Education Center "Nature’s Marvelous Inventions" program for kids ages 6 to 12. The free program runs from 10-11 a.m. at the Center, 10 miles northeast of Great Bend on K-156. Discover where people found ideas for Velcro, airplanes, armor and paper — to name just a few human inventions already used by plants and animals — play a game and make an invention.
