A few spaces remain in the Furniture or Trunk refinishing workshop said by Donna Krug, Barton County family and consumer science agent. The workshop will begin at 2 p.m. May 27, with participants bringing their project to the 4-H building north of Great Bend on Highway 281. The class continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 28 and 29. Participants who pre-register will be sent a list of supplies to bring to the first class. There is a $5 registration fee.
