Two vehicles were impounded by Great Bend police officers on Wednesday afternoon and early Thursday, after separate instances where drivers fled.
At 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, an officer attempted to stop a subject on a dirt bike on Broadway Ave., but the subject fled the area. The bike was located and booked into evidence.
At 2:36 a.m. Thursday, an officer impounded a 1993 Oldsmobile after the driver fled from the vehicle in the 1100 block of Odell St.
