‘Away in the Basement’ coming to Opera House

McPHERSON — The Church Basement Ladies are back at the McPherson Opera House for two performances of their Christmas musical comedy, “Away in the Basement.” It can be seen at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, at 221 South Main in McPherson. 

In 1959, the Sunday School Christmas Program brings love and holiday preparations. Witty ladies create cherished memories, balancing tradition, and new ideas. Amidst rehearsals and treat bag preparations, unexpected surprises await. Hilarious antics and subtle charm save the day once more.
