The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will hold a public budget hearing 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, in Room F-30, on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building.
The second Tuesday of each month is usually set aside for a board study session, with no action items on the agenda. A special meeting was called for the purpose of the budget hearing. Another action item on the agenda is renewal of the contract with education technology company Canvas Network.
The monthly study session will start at 4:30 p.m. with a financial statement and the introduction of the new EduKan director, Esther Lahargoue.
