The Barton Community College trustees will be asked to approve a scales certification program and extend the naming rights on a building during the next board meeting, set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 in room F-30, on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building. Creation of the new vocational certificate program and extending the contract to name the Kip & Kelly Spray Family Strength Training Center were discussed earlier this month at a board study session.
Information items on today’s agenda include a monitoring report of the “Barton experience,” a draft of the college’s annual Community Report, a presentation on financial aid and last week’s amendments to the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference’s bylaws.
