BCC trustees looking at new degree model

The Barton Community College Board of Trustees continues to look at a proposal to move from 64 to 60 credit hours for Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of General Studies degrees. The board will consider a general education plan for such a change when it meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in Room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building.

Other items on the agenda include whether or not to purchase a 2019 Grech-brand bus at a cost of $255,145; the Fiscal Year 2018 audit; and personnel.
