The March meeting of the Cheyenne Bottoms Naturalists will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center. Recently launched, Cheyenne Bottoms Naturalists provides monthly opportunities for adults and interested teens to learn more about the natural world, participate in research opportunities and enjoy hands-on activities. Programs are free and open to the public.
This month’s program will feature amphibians that make their homes at Cheyenne Bottoms.  KWEC Education Director Jean Aycock will talk about how to identify the local amphibians and what the KWEC is doing to help support frog and toad research.  Participants may sign up for a field trip later in the year to help out with the annual Frog Watch.
No registration is necessary. For more information, call 877-243-9268.
