City to hold annual auction

The City of Great Bend will hold its annual public auction at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, outside the Great Bend Police Department, 1217 Williams St.
Police Chief Cliff Couch said the sale will include surplus city equipment that is no longer being used, as well as lost or unclaimed property such as tools and bicycles. Ken Schremmer of Schremmer Realty Auction & Appraisers will be the auctioneer.
There are no vehicles for sale this year, other than two motorcycle dirt bikes.
Items of interest include used 8-foot florescent light fixtures; office equipment including computers and printers; flood lights and stands; a portable speaker system, speakers on stands, three amplifiers, microphones and cables; a 12-foot aluminum flat bottom boat; entertainment center; residential push lawn mower; yard tools, hand tools and power tools; and home and car stereo equipment.
