The Barton Community College Performing Arts Department will host “Scholarship Day” auditions on Thursday, Feb. 12.  Current or prospective students may contact the Music Department to set up a time to audition for music or theatre scholarships or performance awards.  Awards are available for performing arts majors and non-performing arts majors alike.
Those doing a vocal audition will need to bring a song of their choice.  Those doing an instrumental audition will need to bring their instrument and prepare a song of their choice.  Theater auditions will consist of a 90-second monologue, vocal selection from musical theater or a 90-second combination.
