Commission, council to meet Monday

 Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Monday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a Damon Family Foundation donation to the Golden Belt Veterans Memorial, a Mayor and County Recognition Day for National Service proclamation and a fiber optic cable upgrade.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes support for Cinco De Mayo and requests for the Summer Street Stroll, movies and other activities in Jack Kilby Square.
