Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Tuesday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes designation of Barton County financial institutions as official depositories, the Kansas Association of Counties membership dues and the replacement of a desktop computer for the Mapping Division.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes City Administrator Howard Partington’s city update, an economic development report from Great Bend Chamber of Commerce President Jan Peters and property abatements.
