The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The meeting will be open to the public but will also be streamed live due to COVID-19.

It will be live-streamed through Microsoft Teams. Citizens may view the meeting through their own sign-in or by signing in anonymously.

The agenda includes: a recognition of retiring County Clerk Donna Zimmerman; a recognition of retiring  Personal Property/Appraisal Clerk Ellen Fischer; the transfer of Special Alcohol Funding; the purchase of a wireless door and alarm system; and property insurance for the county’s sand dredge.

Following the agenda meeting the following appointment is scheduled:

• 10:15 a.m. – regular Business Discussion with Interim County Administrator Barry McManaman, County Clerk Donna Zimmerman and Human Resources/Finance Director Matt Patzner.
