The work to replace the native stone bridge three miles north of Beaver will begin on Monday, November 14th. The contractor will set up the signs and barricades and Barton County forces will begin demolition of the bridge. NE 60 Avenue will be closed between NE 210 Road and NE 220 Road for approximately two months. Reece Construction Company will construct the new reinforced concrete box culvert and Barton County crews will finish the grading work and place the asphalt for the roadway.
Reece Construction Company also is continuing to work on the two concrete box culvert widening projects three miles north of Redwing. It is anticipated that they will complete the work in the next two to three weeks.
