bccSupplyDen22
BCC students are able to utilize the Cougar Supply Den at no cost and it includes food, hygiene items, drinks, bedding and more.

Barton’s Cougar Supply Den (CSD) was awarded $70,000 through a federal grant from the United States Department of Education and the Kansas Board of Regents that can be used to purchase food and personal care items that students in need can use free of cost.

Central Kansas Upward Bound Director and CSD Sponsor Patrick Busch said he is thankful for the funds that will help students.

“This grant will allow the CSD to offer more items like fresh fruits, milk and juices,” he said. “It will also allow the CSD to offer more feminine hygiene products, dental care products, etc.”

Donations can be dropped off at the Learning Resource Center located in the middle of campus from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Monetary donations can be made to the Barton Foundation by sending checks to Foundation Office, 245 NE 30 Road, Great Bend, KS 67530 with “CSD” in the memo or donate online at foundation.bartonccc.edu.
