The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes an Older Americans Month proclamation, a resolution reducing the speed on portions of North Washington hear the intersection with 30 Road and the 2018 hot-mix asphalt overlay project.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the recognition of DARE essay winners, a rezoning request from Christopher Tyree for 1011 Taft, the purchase of property from Nels Lindberg to provide access to land isolated by the condemnation of the bridge on Park Street and an executive session to review city administrator applications.
