The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the former JC Penney building, 1500 Kansas in Great Bend.
The meeting will be open to the public but will also be streamed through Microsoft Teams. Citizens may view the meeting through their own sign-in or by signing in anonymously.

The agenda includes:
• A maintenance agreement with Motorola Solutions for the county’s two 800 megahertz repeater towers for the 911 Department.
• A maintenance, support and software update agreement with Motorola Solutions for 911’s radio console.
• A private fireworks display requested by Veronica Ludwig of Hoisington.
Following the agenda meeting, the following appointments are scheduled:
• 9:45 a.m. – finance update with County Administrator Matt Patzner.
• 10 a.m. – Workforce Development Grant for Public Health with Public Health Director Karen Winkelman.
• 10:15 a.m. – program update with County Engineer Barry McManaman.
• 10:30 a.m. – regular business discussion with County Administrator Matt Patzner.
