County Commission to discuss Drivers License Office

The Barton County Commission will consider employee handbook revisions and discuss the upcoming tax sale when it meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the courthouse.
Other items on the agenda include discussion of the request from the Kansas Department of Revenue, Department of Motor Vehicles, to move the Driver’s Licensing Office from the second floor of the courthouse to the fourth floor.
At 10 a.m. or following the close of the agenda meeting, County Counselor/Administrator Richard Boeckman will discuss regular business. Included will be a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism concerning the K-4 Overlook Project; insurance bids and bids for memorial parks fencing paint or power coating.
