The Barton County Commission will meet Tuesday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Tuesday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a proclamation for Kans for Kids Fighting Cancer’s 25th anniversary, a bridge replacement on East Barton County Road at the Wet Walnut Creek and a dedicated wireless connection for the Barton County Landfill.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the City Office, 1209 Williams.  The agenda includes a Zoological Society update, an ordinance specifying when newly elected city officials take office, a collapsed manhole on 18th Street near Baker Street, an economic development proposals and an executive session to discuss economic development business retention and expansion.
