Some Great Bend Middle School students had the opportunity to hear Gloria Borgan talk about the importance of embracing who they are, and how making good decisions now can affect their future. Bogan encouraged the students not to feel limited by any barriers and stressed the importance of continuing their education after high school. She also discussed the need for students to embrace their culture and the advantages of being bilingual. Great Bend High School offers German, French and Spanish to students. Borgan, who was originally from Baja California, Mexico, is an employee of USD 428 as a translator/interpreter.
