Brantley wins award for doctoral proposal

Sherri G. Brantley, Great Bend, was recognized recently during the Middle States Teachers of English Speakers of Other Languages (MidTESOL) conference in Lawrence. Her  doctoral research was awarded the “Best Student Proposal” for the Nebraska/Kansas/Missouri/Arkansas/Iowa conference.
Brantley an instructor at Fort Hays State University in the Department of Teacher Education, was also elected vice president for MidTESOL for 2013-2014 and will serve as president for the 2014-2015 year. The position will extend work completed at the 2014 TESOL International Conference in Portland, Ore.
