Dodge City Diocese Civic Orations Contest

On April 11, St. Joseph Catholic School hosted the Dodge City Diocese Civic Orations Contest. Students from six Diocesan Schools competed in the contest. The top three winners are pictured from left to right: 2nd place, Symone Simmons, 6th grade, St. Mary Catholic School in Garden City; 1st place, Cailyn Brack, 6th grade, Holy Family Catholic School, Great Bend; and 3rd place, Sarah Hammeke, 8th grade, St. Joseph Catholic School, Ellinwood. Judges for the contest were Mike Westerman, Julie Ann Jacobs, and Vance Stegman.
