Great Bend High School senior Allison Regehr was selected for the Kansas Music Educators Association 5-6A Band which will meet in Wichita Feb. 23-25. Regehr was selected a fifth chair french horn through live auditions held in Salina last January.
Robert Sheldon will be the guest clinician/conductor for the Honor Band.
GBHS Band Director Mark DeWald commented, “This is a great honor and Allison is most deserving to be selected.”
She is the daughter of Don and Marlene Regehr and plans to attend Bethany College next fall. Her father is assistant GBHS Band director, and head GBMS Band director. The concert will be held in Century II on Saturday afternoon.
