GBHS students selected for State Kansas Music Educators Association honor band
Ben Diel, trumpet, was recently selected for the State Kansas Music Educators Association 5-6A Honor Band which will meet on Feb. 26-28, in Wichita. Allison Regehr, french horn, was named first alternate. Diel is a senior at GBHS and this is his second year for the honor; Regehr is a junior. They performed at live auditions in Salina in January and had a vast number of contenders. The three days of practice will culminate with a Saturday afternoon concert at Century II.
