The Gertrude Lischesky Scholarship, given by Chapter DU, P.E.O., recently awarded five renewable scholarships of $1,500 each to five Great Bend Seniors who will be attending a Kansas College of Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. this year.
The recipients are Edith Reza, Perla Hernandez, Kacyi Huslig, Devan Boeger and Mica Schneider.
To date this scholarship has been awarded to 45 graduating seniors from Great Bend High School.
