Members of the Great Bend Rotary Club pose with Darnell Holopirek on Monday, Oct. 14. The club sponsored a seat in the Barton Community College Fine Arts Auditorium, which is halfway through a major renovation.

Seat sponsorship money will be used to help upgrade specific parts of the auditorium. The Take a Seat campaign allows community members to sponsor an auditorium seat for $125, which will get their name, or the name of an honoree, inscribed on a plaque and placed in the lobby area. The foundation now exceeded its initial goal of 232 seats, but donations are still accepted. For more information call Coleen Cape at the Foundation Office, 620-786-1136.
