LINDSBORG — Brianna Hoffman from Larned is one of nine Bethany College students selected by their peers to serve as officers in the Swede Government Association (SGA), Bethany’s student congress, for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Duties of executive council officers include representing student concerns and ideas, serving as points of contact for faculty members and administrators, overseeing distribution of student organization funds, and leading SGA meetings. Duties of class officers include voicing the concerns of classmates at weekly meetings and serving on sub-committees.
Hoffman, who is majoring in business and sports management, was chosen as executive vice president.
