Sterling graduates 125 on May 12

STERLING — Friends and family gathered on East Cooper Lawn at Sterling College on Saturday morning, May 12, to celebrate with 125 graduates for their achievements. The City of McPherson Pipe Band led the procession, and speaker and alumnus, Matt Jaeger class of 2000, president and co-founder of Emergent Green Energy, gave a speech titled “A Job or a Calling?” The presentation of degrees followed with students walking the stage to shake hands with President Scott Rich and completing their time at Sterling.

Area graduates include:
Chase: Christina Sue Sledd, bachelor of arts in Christian ministries: Youth;
Hoisington: Jordin Breanna Greer, bachelor of arts in Biblical studies, Old Testament studies and in Exercise Science;
Ness City: Koltyn Levi Ratliff, Bachelor of Science in Biology;
Russell: Lena Marie Wedel, bachelor of science in health science and pre-physical therapy;
Stafford: Brittany Michelle Shultz, bachelor of science in exercise science;
Sterling: Tad Allen Lafferty, bachelor of arts in music and education; Carrie A. McGlynn, bachelor of arts in Christian Ministries; Richard Clifton Nichols, bachelor of science in business administration and marketing; and Daniel Joseph Rupp, bachelor of science in business administration and accounting.
