The Masonic Grand Lodge of Kansas awarded scholarship

The Masonic Grand Lodge of Kansas awarded Colton Potts a $3,000 scholarship for his second-place winning essay in its 2017 essay contest. Potts chose to write about the Kansas Masonic Cancer Alliance Partnership. He also won the local Claflin Masonic Lodge’s $200 scholarship.
Kansas Masons have served Kansas and Kansas communities since 1856. In 2016, six new partnerships were initiated to enhance the lives of the state’s citizens.
Within the last month the Claflin Masonic Lodge combined with the Hoisington Lodge. Potts was officially presented the scholarship at the Hoisington Masonic Lodge on Thursday, Jan. 18.
