Wilson Hall is ringing with voices as Sterling College students prepare for the first show of the semester. “Words and Music from Broadway Today” will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, and Saturday, Feb. 1, in Cornerstone in the Student Union.
“We are highlighting musicals written from 2000-2013, so the word ‘today’ has a broad definition. Overall, the shows are more contemporary in their musical structure and sound. The show is part of our interterm class, Topics in Music: Words and Music, where we are focusing on musical theatre,” said Mark Clark, assistant professor of music.
Admission to “Words and Music” is free, but seating is limited. The show will last approximately 90 minutes.
