NESS COUNTY — A Dodge City woman died Saturday after a van she was riding in crashed on U.S. 283, 5 miles south of Ness City.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports neither the driver, Cody Wayne Buller, 37, nor his passenger, Rosemarie Buller, 37, were wearing seat belts. Mr. Buller was driving a 1993 Chevy van that left the roadway at 7:58 a.m., striking a guardrail. The van came to rest nose down in the ditch on top of a culvert.
Both were taken to the Ness County Hospital, where Rosemarie Buller later died as a result of her injuries.
