The Barton County Health Department invites the public to attend a special presentation on “Food and Farm Councils in Kansas.”
Speaker Missty Lechner of the Kansas Alliance for Wellness will be at the Gret Bend Front Door Building at 1615 Tenth Street on Monday, April 18 at 7 p.m. to provide information about what the councils are, how they work and more. Discussion will include possible community priorities including growing food, community wellness, food retailing, and having enough healthy food for all.
