GBHS musicians present concert selections

Great Bend High School instrumental students will present their solo and small ensemble contest selections at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 3 in the GBHS Band Room (Room 153).
Soloists include: Mc-Kenna Esfeld and Alivia Bautista, flute; Kaitlin Adams, Daniela Astrain-Favela, clarinet; Robbie Brining, alto saxophone; Allison Regehr, French horn; Dalton Dicks and Matthew Phillips, trombone; Andrew Curtright, euphonium; Lane Milholland, tuba; and Allen To and Elizabeth Gerdes, percussion.
Ensembles playing and their members are: Saxophone Trio - Maria Miranda, Fernanda Rodriguez, Sage Cauley; Percussion Trio - Willow Jones, Allen To, Luke Maneth; Brass Quintet - Alex Smith, Dylan Lamb, Dalton Dicks, Daniel Abbott, Lane Milholland; and Brass Sextet - Aaron Schultz, Alex Smith, Allison Regehr, Matthew Phillips, Andrew Curtright and Sean Williams.
Mark DeWald is the band instructor, and he is assisted by Don Regehr; Marlene Regehr is accompanist for the soloists.
“The public is invited to hear these fine young musicians as they prepare for the Regional Music Festival on April 8 at Barton Community College,” DeWald said. There is no admission fee for Monday’s performance or to attend the Regional Festival.
