Spirit Week has begun at Great Bend High School, heading toward Fall Homecoming 2018 on Friday.

Every day this week is a dress-up day, or spirit day. According to Lana Wolf in the GBHS Activities Office, the spirit days are:

Monday was Team Spirit Day - favorite sports jersey

Tuesday was Character Day - dress like your favorite TV or movie character

Wednesday is Hawaiian Day - flowered shirts or tacky tourist outfits

Thursday is Sock Hop Day - letter jackets, poodle skirts, etc.

Friday - Red and Black Day - any Panther gear

School will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. Friday to give students time to get to the Homecoming Parade on Main Street.

The Madrigal Chili Supper starts at 5 p.m. in the GBHS Commons, and at 7 p.m. the Panther football team will host the Red Demons from Dodge City. The Homecoming crowning ceremonies will take place prior to the game, at 6:30 p.m.
