Great Bend USD 428 has solicited information and cost proposals for the synthetic turf and track at the GBHS Memorial Stadium. The administration will bring information before the Board of Education when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the District Education Center, 201 South Patton Road.

Other items on the agenda are board recognition of the nominees for the 2024 USD 428 Teachers of the Year; a presentation on the Great Bend Reading Initiative; approval of secondary math sequence changes as discussed last month; a change to the computer purchase order; first reading of the next GBHS Program of Studies; a memorandum of understanding with Willdan Performance Engineers to investigate energy conservation measures district-wide; and approval of a Naloxone medication policy.
