Four Great Bend Middle School Band students recently auditioned for and were accepted into the Southwest District Kansas Music Educators’ Middle School Honor Band. Because of health restrictions the event, normally held in Dodge City, was not held this year, said Don Regehr, GBMS band director. “But it is still an honor to be selected into the group and we want to congratulate these students for their hard work and dedication to playing their instrument. Accepted into the band were: Trenton Peterson, trumpet, top left; Ailey Williams, flute; Anderson Luttrell, trombone; and Jacklyn Garcia, trumpet.
