The Great Bend Recreation Commission board has scheduled a special meeting Friday afternoon at 12:15 p.m., at the Carl Soden Recreation Center, 1214 Stone St.

At the meeting, the board is scheduled to discuss a letter of support from the City of Great Bend regarding potential turf improvements to the baseball fields at the Great Bend Sports Complex. No other new business is scheduled for discussion at the meeting.
