At its monthly board meeting Monday, Jan. 11, the Great Bend Recreation Commission board will discuss the purchase of additional seating and shade structures as part of the ongoing Veterans Park tennis court improvement projects. The board will also elect new officers for 2021, and will hear reports on the 2021 board meeting calendar as well as the annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure form. They will also hear reports from department heads regarding Rec programs, as well as attendance and financial reports. The meeting will take place at 4 p.m. Monday at the Carl Soden Recreation Center at 1214 Stone St.
