Great Bend Evening Lions host guide dog program

On Monday, the Great Bend Evening Lions’ Club will host a special program with Randy Teske and his guide dog Marco. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 2400 Washington in Great Bend.
Teske is legally blind and will explain about Marco’s skills that allow him to regain his independence, as well as information about K.S.D.S. and Assistance Dogs Inc., located in Washington. He will demonstrate Marco’s skills and explain how guide dogs differ from service dogs for the physically handicapped.
