Registration is open for Heartland Farm’s summer Peace Camp, June 5-9. Peace Camp, a day camp for 8-11-year-olds, is full of fun and exciting experiences like games, special projects, music, conversation, good food and new friendships. This year’s theme is Oneness with Nature.
Campers spend their day outdoors on the Farm’s 80-acres in a fun, learning environment developing skills that bring the natural world, farm life, and human relationships together as a peace-filled whole. Each day’s activities include vigorous activity and opportunities to stretch mind, heart and body on the Farm’s trails, pastures and prairies, in its ponds, gardens, arts studio, and with its farm animals.
Peace Camp gives campers a daily adventure allowing them the chance to discover or renew their relationship with Earth – with plants and animals and all creation – and have fun while doing it.
