Great Bend High School band students were recently selected for the Southwest Kansas Music Educators Association Honor Band that will meet on Saturday, Dec. 3 in Dodge City. Students were selected from taped auditions in this 22-county district. Band members are Dalton Dicks, 8th chair trombone; Alex Smith, 9th chair trumpet; Allen To, 1st chair mallets; Andrew Curtright, 3rd chair euphonium; and Allison Regehr, 1st chair horn. Students will rehearse during the day and give a 3 p.m. concert.
