Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) welcomed many Veterans from Kansas who arrived in Washington on their Honor Flight. Huelskamp had nice conversations with Les Stewart, Ned Brack, Roy Titsworth and Jim Gordee, all from Great Bend, and he thanked them for their service to our nation.
Huelskamp said the following about this Honor Flight: “On behalf of a grateful nation, it was a privilege and honor to meet these Kansas Veterans who sacrificed for our country. Honor Flights are a wonderful idea. Bringing Veterans to see their memorials is a small gesture to show how much we appreciate them.”
