Dawson McNeal as been selected to the Northwest Kansas District Honor Jazz Band which meets Saturday in Hays. McNeal submitted a recorded audition through his band instructor in late September. Clinician for the Jazz Band is Steven Lueth, music instructor at Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina, and formerly of Barton Community College. The concert is at 3:30 p.m. at Hays High School, 2300 E. 13th St.
