Registration is open for Heartland Farm’s Under the Stars on Friday, Aug. 4. Under the Stars is cookout, concert and stargazing event. Come out for food, music, and viewing of the Persied meteor shower in the Farm’s inky black skies.

This special event features Still on the Hill, a national and international touring duet out of Arkansas focused on storytelling and preserving the culture of the Ozarks.

Still on the Hill’s music is a blend of bluegrass, folk, classical, and mountain music that Julie Koehler of Bluegrass Now magazine calls a “yet-to-be-named hybrid music that simply compels people to stop and listen, to pause in their hectic lives and pay attention to something they’ve never heard before. It’s magic, and there’s simply not enough magic in the world today.”

Space is limited to 50. Registration deadline: Tuesday, Aug. 1st. Advance registration required: $20 per person (includes meal). Register at https://heartlandfarm-ks.org/under-the-stars-2023/.
