Central Kansas Christian Academy (CKCA), located at 215 McKinley St. in Great Bend, will hold its 2021-22 Kindergarten Round-Up March 29 through April 1. The free 15-minute assessment is available to any child who will turn 5 years old on or before Aug. 31.

The assessment will help the teacher and parents determine readiness for the kindergarten year. Parents will be given an opportunity to ask questions and get help preparing their kindergartner over the summer. Round-Up also introduces the family to the kindergarten atmosphere, the school, and to their child’s teacher.

The United Way will give each participant a backpack filled with fun educational items.

To schedule an appointment and for enrollment information, scholarships, financial planning, and multiple student discounts, call 620-792-3477.

CKCA offers a faith based education to K-8 students. CKCA is a non-denominational Christian school offering a solid curriculum, an on-site kitchen serving hot lunches, a fine arts program, athletics, extracurricular activities, weekly chapel services, qualified teachers and a caring staff.

In an effort to keep family, students, faculty and staff healthy, all adults and school-aged children are required to wear face coverings, have temperature checks, use hand sanitizer, and maintain social distances when entering and in the school.
