The 2019 Kansas Teacher of the Year (KTOY) Team was been “on-tour,” visiting school districts across the state. In this Feb. 26 photo, the Team was visiting Kansas City Public Schools. Signe Cook, a fourth-grade teacher from Park Elementary School in Great Bend (second from right, front row), is a distinguished member of the team and continues to garner knowledge and ideas from across Kansas. USD 428 will welcome the 2019 KTOY Team to Great Bend on Monday, April 2. Cook and Stacey Magnett, secondary Teacher of the Year from USD 428, are preparing to host the group and highlight some of the great programs happening in 428.
