Legislative Coffee scheduled for Saturday

Senator Mary Jo Taylor, Representative Troy Waymaster and Representative Alicia Straub will hold a Legislative Coffee in Great Bend on Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce and will be held at the chamber office, 1125 Williams St.

The main topic of discussion will be the passage of bills that each chamber has debated and voted on at this time, as well as pending legislation, including the budget. All members of the public are invited to attend and discuss these legislative matters.

Senator Mary Jo Taylor, 33rd Kansas Senate District, represents Barton, Edwards, Kiowa, Lane, Ness, Pawnee, Rush Scott and Stafford Counties as well as parts of Hodgeman and Rice counties.

Representative Alicia Straub, 113th Kansas House District, represents Pratt and Stafford counties as well as parts of Barton, Pawnee and Rice counties.   

Representative Troy Waymaster, 109th Kansas House District, represents Barton, Lincoln, Jewell, Osborne, Rush, Russell, and Smith counties.
