Greetings from the Great Bend Public Library! This Saturday, February 29th we have a special event happening at the library. Two authors; Brenda Wagner and Ann Drews, will be visiting to do a reading and signing. Authors of Under the Willow Tree and God’s Favorite Things respectively.

Brenda Wagner was born, and raised here in Great Bend, Kansas. She grew up being very involved in her community and church. She was an avid reader and in the second grade, she discovered the joy of writing her own stories. As she grew so did her passion for writing. Brenda credits God for her passion for the written word. God’s Favorite Things is a touching story of a father teaching his son what’s really important.
