One "old business" item and two "new business" items have been added to the agenda for Monday night’s meeting of the Larned City Council. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 417 Broadway. The old item is consideration of converting the former Larned National Guard Armory into a fire station. The City of Larned owns the armory since it was closed early this year.

The new items are a recommendation from the Pawnee County Economic Development Association to designate Northeast Trail Road as an official truck route, and a request from the PCEDC for the City to partially fund a demographic study.

The Christmas Lighting Contest and other agenda items for the meeting were listed in a story in Friday’s Tribune.
