Fort Larned Lions Club
to sponsor coffee hour
 
LARNED — The Fort Larned Lions Club has scheduled its annual coffee hour from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at Carr Auction. Fort Larned Lions collect food, clothing and toys, along with the Fort Larned School District and Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary, for Christmas baskets to help families in need at the Holidays.  From Carr Auction the baskets are packaged and delivered to the families. Nazarene Church will perform
‘The Christmas Story’ Sunday

LARNED — “The Christmas Story,” is Sunday’s Church of the Nazarene Christmas musical program at 1024 Broadway. The program will be presented at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Christmas dinner will be served after the performance.

Commission to meet Monday

LARNED — The Pawnee County commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The agrena includes Pawnee County Sheriff Scott King on Tyco security; and a public hearing for Neighborhood Revitalization Plan.

City council to meet Monday night

LARNED —  There will be a Special Session of the Larned City Council on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
Agenda items include police department vehicles; appoint new member to Building Trades Board; boundary resolution; amend plumbing code section 15.08.190; city website; Neighborhood Revitalization Plan; CMB licenses; and PRIDE resolution.

Wind Chimes to perform

LARNED — The Wind Chimes will perform holiday music at the Welcome Inn on Thursday, Dec. 19, prior to the monthly birthday and anniversary dinner. The music starts at 11:30 a.m., and the meal is at noon.
